The program for the course is as follows:

  • 1. Introduction and Fundamentals
  • 2. Krylov methods
  • 3. Projection methods and Domain Decomposition
  • 4. Multigrid solvers and preconditioning
  • 5. Applications, Newton-Krylov methods for nonlinear problems
  • All lectures will take place in building 324, Room 240 and all hands-on exercises will take place in Building 303 Databar 046.
